Unlucky day anyone?

I guess yesterday was my unlucky day, besides Rislin not cooperative with mummy.I also met with a bunch of "annoying" Teenagers?

We were waiting for the lift at BHG Bugis at that time and Lift A's door opened, seeing that the group of 3 teenagers didnt go in first, as i brought my twin stroller which is quite long.I went in first, I squeezed myself miserably as i wanted to let more people in, the handle pressing on my tummy.

As I was in a cranky mood that day, my husband then told me that the teenagers said that i was inconsiderate in using the lift with the stroller. Huh? I got so angry that i shouted/talked loudly, "who? who said i was inconsiderate in using the lift with the stroller." Husband just said maybe some people who is handicap. Immediately, I suspected the teenagers as before we board the lift, they were grumbling about the long wait for the lift. But, as im not sure i did not confront them.

They were in the same lift as us though, So i said loudly again, Who said that I am inconsiderate in using the lift with the stroller? Why dont you tell it in my face. Then, the lift reached 2nd storey and the teenagers literally FLY out of the lift immediately. Gosh.

When reached the nursing room, i asked my husband is the culprit them. He then comfirmed with me as they said it while i was pushing the stroller in the lift and my mind was else where haha.Well the teenagers were lucky that my husband didnt tell me that its them else i would have gone out with them at 2nd storey to confront them.

So what the hell were they thinking? They were able bodied young girls of aging around 13 year old and with no shopping bags or anything on hand not able to use the escalator, claiming that im misusing the lift? I thought the lift priority is for people with stroller and not for ABLE BODIED whom is not having any "problems" people?

Sadly what have our education system been teaching the next generation? And since my stroller is so long isnt it right that i position well my stroller first instead of pushing on them when most inconsiderate people refuse to give me the free space and i have to repeatly say excuse me?

Guilty as charged

How do I even describe this kind of feelings? I was so hungry and frustrated that I started rough handling my girl when she threw tantrums, I had to drag her crying dont want walking, and as our stroller is spoilt we had to go a nearby eating place, so there was burger king .

And I drag her in and let go, then she sit down and cry! So fed up that I flick her mouth and told her to stop crying but she refused. Counting to three doesn't work on her anymore..

I had to drag her out again with her screaming don't want, and sitting on the floor refusing to move.

What the hell is she doing today with her tan-drums! Is today a tandrum day?

Ah I really can't control my fiery temper when she throws tandrum and when I'm hungry.. I do overhear ppl saying I'm cruel when I flick..

But I really feel terribly bad but yet I can't control sigh

Make a Japanese Orphan Smile

Make a Japanese orphan smile.

I have actually been following up on the gloomy news of japan's tsunami and radiation spread. From there, i stumbled upon a blog who has been corresponding with her friends base on Ishinomaki, japan, of which one of them is the teacher whom is situated at the worst hit area of the tsunami. I remembered reading about the situation and the pictures tugged at my heart strings at how detailed they describe of their situation.

So i decided to actually do something for them. After a whole night of thinking, i decided on something that make them smile, something which is not only a good to have and a "must have". To cheer them up, as well as to look on the days ahead smiling and happy.

I thought of doing the pillow, but my alone efforts will not be enough as its whole elementary school students, most of the students parents are missing and passed on. With limited budget,I will not be able to make so much for the whole elementary school.

So i would like to appeal to you mummies to help them with the purchase for this pillow for the kids. MumObaby will be using flanette for the pillow material as its cold at japan now, so it will help to keep them warm.

I will also attach all the donator's Name, and encouragement words for them. MumObaby will also be sponsoring the shipping fees to japan and for every 30 orders mumobaby will donate a pillow. I hope to get at least 100 orders as usually a class has 30 students so there is a huge amount of students but i hope to make as much as possible to them.

And for every 200 LIKES on facebook we will sponsor a pillow for the japan child too. So please spread this news around and let the child get your love. Place a smile on their face, they are someone's child too, someone whom is loved, let them feel the love that someone is out there for them.

mumobaby

And there will be a Lucky draw for the random person whom purchase the pillow to receive a FREE taggie blanket for your child! You can not only help the kids in need and even stand to win a free taggie blanket for your child!

About the pillow and the design

Its approximately 12.5inchX 8inch, created for the child to easy to hug and lie on it to bring around. The top will have a sewn on strip of ribbon with the word "SMILE" embrodiered on it. The reason why it was embroidered on the strip of the ribbon is to allow the word to stand out.

Reminding the child to smile no matter what happens and to see the future with a smile

Lets walk with them with this emotional support to a future ahead, smiling.

Priced at $18 each.

Blessing in Disguise

Liris is still having fever at this point of time. His fever started on friday evening/night. I reached home at about 9pm+. While we were out, i felt that he was getting warmer and warmer as he was in ergo carrier carried by me. So after buying the necessaries, we went home immediately.

Then i felt that he was really hot about 1 hour later, thus i measured his temperature and was a whopping 38.4 degrees!I started to get worried and anxious, so i decided to bring him to the 24hours clinic.

I think i look like a frantic mad woman waving for the taxi that a taxi zoomed passed me with green light lol. Anyway i got on the 2nd cab shortly and the uncle asked me where would i like to go. So i replied "the 24hour clinic opposite tiong bahru plaza".

While i was in the cab the taxi driver started chatting with me and i told him that my son is having high fever. And he told me to "trust my mother instincts" and bring to the hospital when necessary. Because few days ago there was a news whereby the 13year old daughter was vomiting and had diarrhea for 3 days, went to 2 different clinic but was not cured yet did not go to hospital. She passed away though, which was really sad.

Moving on, I also told him that i have only two $50 notes,he said that he doesnt have $2 etc note.So when i reached my destination, he refused to accept my money! He keep saying nevermind and even refuse to give me his bank account number to transfere him the money!! So i keep pressing him to accept but he refuse and in the end, he told me to hurry as my son is having fever. So, with no choice i had to come down and i thank him countlessly.

Oh gosh, i didnt expected to meet a kind hearted uncle at this point of time. This is really a blessing in disguise and i took down his cab number to write in to compliment his kindness and good service!

When i reached the clinic, i had to wait quite some time before its my turn and he was 38.9degrees at that time. I almost quickly left there and brought liris to the hospital instead as i was so so worried till the doctor calm me and told me to try his medications first which thankfully it works but doesnt seem to work much now. Anyway it cost me $50 for the whole medications+consultations.

I quickly left there after taking liris medicine in hope to get home quickly to feed him the medications but again i met with TWO inconsiderate cab snatchers again so i decided to take the bus home which is faster in the end.

Ahh, and hes sound asleep now and im still awake to wait for his next waking time to check his temperature again and im getting a bit cranky now as im so tired but yet i need to wait for him to wait up. So good night everyone, enjoy your sunday

Rant:smokers

I know I'm full of rant but I really can't tolerate INCONSIDERATE smokers!!

Imagine you are sitting at the most furthest end of the none smoking area eating happily with your kids. Then a hardcore/inconsiderate smoker in either group or alone decided to seat beside you. While the smoking area has 3-4vacant table!

You were already there in the first place and these jokers decided to smoke beside your kids and glare at you! At that point of time I seriously want to poke/gorge out their eyes..

I sat there specially so that me and my kids don't need to be a second hand smoker from your smoke! If you want to kill yourself, go ahead please don't drag others with you especially my kids!! And there's so much tables there, of all tables why must you sit beside me and my kids!

I could have tolerated if I have no kids. But freaking hell, we are already at there eating yet you have to place your heavy and selfish butts at non smoking corner.. Not to mention also that there's so many other tables u can choose so from.

Since there's so many smokers in Singapore ,unfortunately inconsiderate smokers is also increasing with the increasing amount of ah tiongs! Yes! They are also one of them.

Freaking hell ,for my child sake when I was trying to conceive ris, I quited smoking and I was a hardcore smoke.(FYI even when I was a smoker I have never ever smoke near a child or pregnant woman before or even a none smoker I would hide in a corner and smoke) And here they are jeopardizing my child's health and when I complain to my dad or husband. They would tell me "how to avoid, everyone smokes in Singapore"...

Gosh that's how serious the "inconsiderate smokers rate". And nea doesn't do their job well I was at the coffeeshop waiting for their "man" to come down as they say they will send someone.

End of day? 4hours later they have left and still no sight of nea.. Wow isn't it?

Rant-cab snatchers

I am seriously so so fed up with cab snatchers! They are a couple of ungracious, uncultured an utterly a product of failure brought up by their parents! They shame their parents so much!

Yesterday was my "regular day as usual" cabbing day and experience. I waited 1hour+ just to get into a cab. Why you might ask? It was AGAIN once of those days where those cab snatchers appear!

They act as if you don't exist and you are apparently very visible! I was with my mum and two kids that day and the first cab snatcher appeared infront of me.

She was carrying a child too, obviously she should understand how irked parents are when their cab are snatched right, and she should show a good role model.(her child looks quite old like6yo?) But.. No! She went infront of me and attempted to get a cab!

Don't tell me like oh maybe she's rushing to the hospital, she could have walked over to me and let me know. I would GLADLY let her board the cab first!

And she waited about 40mins, so if it was really emergency she would have hailed any car or call cab or even run to the mrt since it's about 2bus stops away.

So I was so irritated with her infront of me for so long I went to the other side and I'm even MORE visible now. Again another "I act as you don't exist" butch with her girlfriend appeared infront of me about 15steps infront of me!

I didn't want to pick a quarrel because my mum was carrying rislin and I had to hold on the stroller with a bunch of things another hand with liris.

Really irked me so much! And even when they went past me in the cab they still STARE at me as if telling me "look i got cab, keep waiting!muhahahaha" Oh my goodness..

What is the world coming to.. What are the parents teaching? Snatch other people cab is not something wrong and disgraceful? A "normal" thing in our society?

A food for thought.. And ended up with a sore arm and back carrying liris so long and freaking tired while I was waiting already..

And this is not one of the rare times that happened. This has happened COUNTLESS of times and most of the time when I'm alone with 2kids.

Isn't this so sad of our "mentality of Singaporean" and what our society has become?

And to be frank only less than 4times people whom wants to cab will ask if I'm waiting/allow me to catch a cab first..

The rest of the time? This happens.. And all the taxi drivers tell me "this is usual especially when u bring kids"
